Sausage Fettuccine in Tomato Cream Sauce
2 TBSP olive oil
2 TBSP butter
1 small onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb mild Italian sausage, casings removed
1 cup heavy cream
16 oz tomato sauce
1 TBSP dried sage
1 lb fettuccine, cooked
1 cup Parmesan, grated
Heat olive oil and butter together in large pot. Add onion and garlic and cook until softened. Add sausage and cook through.
Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and sage. Add fettuccine and top with grated parmesan. Serve and enjoy!
