FFwD: Pancetta Green Beans

Or in my case, Bacon Green Beans. My grocery store didn't have pancetta so I just went for bacon. I love bacon wrapped asparagus, so I knew it would work well. I made these as a side dish for a Valentine's dinner with my husband. We loved them! I'll definitely be making them again!
Make sure to buy Around My French Table by the fabulous Dorie Greenspan for the recipe!

I am sure the bacon worked out really well. I would love to try this with some other greens - asparagus would be wonderful, I think!

I also enjoyed bacon...couldn't find the pancetta, but the bacon was great!

I really loved this recipe and it would definitely be great with asparagus - my other favorite vegetable.

Great picture. Nana and I were able to get the pancetta but I will gladly be re-doing this recipe with bacon in the future since I usually have it on hand. This was a big hit in our homes.

This is one of my all time favorite ways to fix green beans (I add a little Vidalia onion too). Great photo!!
