TWD: My Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate...Chip...Cookies. Need I say more? Really, though... These are delicious cookies but in my opinion, it is really difficult to go wrong with a chocolate chip cookie!

Thanks to Kait of Kait's Plate for hosting this week. The recipe can be found at her blog.

  1. Like you, I have a really tough time saying no to a cookie. Which may be why I had to bake 4 batches before I actually got a picture of these. Yours look wonderful.

  4. Your cookies look like they turned out well--not too thin like some of mine were. I think you are right though, it is hard to go wrong with chocolate chip cookies! (When it comes to taste that is.)

  5. What a great pair of cookies (I hope you made more)! They look perfect! I cheated and used chips... but they were still delicious. And you're right - it's hard to say no to a CC cookie!

  8. Your cookies look great. Mine were so flat, the chocolate I chopped up melted into the cookies. It wasn't pretty. :)

  17. Thanks everyone!

Kaitlin, I didn't tweak the recipe, but I did refrigerate the dough prior to baking. Don't get me wrong, a lot did turn put flat like most TWDers. I think these just happened to be the two best looking cookies from my batch. :)
