SMS: Pecan Shortbread Cookies

Happy Easter! I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful morning with their families!

These cookies are called many things... Mexican Wedding Cookies, Russian Tea Cakes, or my favorite, Snowballs. Melissa Murphy calls them Pecan Shortbread Cookies. Whatever you may call them, they are good! You can't go wrong with a pecan shortbread cookie rolled in powdered sugar!

Thanks to Lara of The Lab for hosting this week. The recipe can be found at her blog.

Your cookies look perfect Cristine! Mine were crumbly so I couldn't roll them in the confectioners' sugar as easily as I'd have liked. Glad you enjoyed them :)

Perfect cookies! I had problems with the dough sticking together so I had to go to plan B.

They look delicious. Love the extra helping of powdered sugar on top :o) I'm thinking these would be great w/almonds too (since I can't eat pecans).
